Throwback Thursday…Wayyyyyyyyy back to 2006 and my debut album with producer/mentor Chuck Plotkin. This track, “What You Owe”, was particularly close to my heart. I think it was the first time I wrote a song where I was willing to be completely straightforward; to say, unequivocally, hey–you’ve let me down. Pay up or disappear. That’s a tough lesson to learn, I’m still practicing it everyday. Which is why it’s sometimes good to come back to this and listen.  xox What You Owe
