Since I’m going back to Texas next week for a reunion with my old band, I thought I’d share some Throwback Thursday photos with you! We used to play spots like La Zona Rosa and Saxon Pub all the time–serious Austin landmarks. (And yes, that’s my old VW bus, Biku. I cried when I sold it.) Ginger Leigh and I tore it up in the incredibly creatively named Ginger & Sarah Band!

The Ginger & Sarah Band played 4-5 times a week, toured around the Southwest and Europe, and recorded 2 albums. We’ll be playing lots of songs off those records next Friday!

I think this was a CD release party for Do What You Will. Note the guy on the left towards the back WEARING A BEEPER… I just…I can’t…so…cool…
