So I went up to Paso Robles last weekend to do a little wine tasting…Came back down with 18 bottles of wine. Who wants to be my friend?! :) Stayed in a little cottage on one of the vineyards and saw a true “Gone With The Wind” style sunset…

Now I’m back down in the LA basin, covered and choking in the thick wildfire smoke and practicing for the Michael Jackson tribute show on Sunday at Room 5…I’m going to be tackling “The Way You Make Me Feel”…Which right now, the way I’ve been made to feel is hot, sweaty, sticky, choky and wheezy. Not that sexy. But by Sunday it might be! All for now kids.
So at my show last week I gathered my courage and performed a cover of Michael Jackson’s “Rock With You”. Normally MJ is in the realm of Aretha for me–you just don’t mess with that. No covers could ever do justice. But it was a birthday request, and well, I really wanted to. :)
Here’s the thing. I have some wonderful beautiful incredible boyfriends visiting me right now, which is a wonderful beautiful excuse to bake too many things and eat out too much and go to Dodger games and go sailing and everything else wonderful and beautiful. Yummmmmm. I seem to have forgotten my stress somewhere. :)
Took the boys sailing on my grandfather's boat. Celebrated with cheese and crackers and beers. Is there a better way to do it??Gennaro repaid me by blowing my mind with the best pizza this side of Italy EVER!I repaid HIM for the pizza by taking him to a Dodgers game. Dodgers lost. Whatever.
