And I’m blue blue blue blue blue…But the good news is I have my living room back and now it’s time to get on with allllllllllllllllll the rest of the recording! Just wanted to pop in a few more pics of the downtown studio environs..Including a shot of all 4 of us after last day of tracking drums and bass (Monday)…Right. Back to sobbing.

Well, we’ve been tracking for about 2 weeks now…Got almost all the bass and drum tracks down–which is a good thing, since the boys leave tomorrow (sob!)–and to celebrate, I treated myself to a pedicure yesterday. Ahhh, the rock and roll lifestyle. Work work work work work, get your toes painted, work work work, have a glass of wine and walk the puppy, work work, sit back and receive the adulation. Ha!
The unassuming entrance to the magic palace of sounds...AKA LemonTree Studios.Great floor for sliding! Also useful for reading when the singer is bored because it's all about the bass and drums. This is where I've been sitting for most of the past 2 weeks...My producer Eric Peterson with his toy box, er, mic collection!And yes... "Quarter of a Cent Cherry" has GOT to be the best nail color ever.

Well, here we go gang. We’ve been back in LA and rehearsing for another week…Played a really fun show on Tax Day and let it all hang out. Thanks to the fine peeps who showed at 10 o’clock on a Wednesday! Setlist for the show...Wait...I can almost read it...It was a wonderful chance to exhale after all the intensity of arrangement work…Now the real fun begins! Into the studio tomorrow…(With a new baby to boot–check out the latest addition to the family!) Wish us luck!
