Well, here we go gang. We’ve been back in LA and rehearsing for another week…Played a really fun show on Tax Day and let it all hang out. Thanks to the fine peeps who showed at 10 o’clock on a Wednesday!

As we’re nearing the end of our week here in the lovely land of the living desert in the foothills above Tucson, I thought I’d share a few pics with you…Help you get the idea of what it’s like laying down the blueprint for a new album… First–and most importantly–everyone is VERY serious all the time!

Then you have your usual array of hours of practice, notes, tempo changes, beat changes, lyric changes…The usual!

Ahhhh...Cocktail time!

Mix this up for 7 or 8 days, and the result is a lot of wonderful bonding and some very cool tunes.  I hope.  :)  Back to SmelLA on Thursday, then a show next week!!! All for now…

Well my favorite Brit and Austrian boys are back in the U.S.A. with me…Picked them up, loaded up the car with MUCH gear and drove out to my parents’ oasis in Tucson Arizona for a week of serious (more or less) rehearsal…Yippeee! Got all set up yesterday and crushed our way through 3 song arrangements. If that ain’t progress, I don’t know what is.  I even brought my old electric guitar with me.  Rock! Finished rehearsal, put our suits on, went for a swim, came back and watched the sunset and drank Tecates and watched stupid old James Bond movies.  Just finished my 2nd cup of coffee which means I’m shaky enough to start singing again…Off to work! More soon. p.s. Put it on your calendars…April 15th at 9 p.m. at Room 5 in Hollywood. It’s going to be right rockin’, innit!
